Hello. First roll of true Black and White

Hello everyone who is visiting my photoblog. Because I'm not really a "blogger", this will just be to post photos for me to link people to easily. Anyway, my name is Scott Bairstow. I am not a professional photographer and don't plan to be one, but I have fun taking photos and like the nice comments I get.

I currently own 6 cameras. Canon Rebel XT, Canon Rebel K2, Canon SX100 IS, Canon Sureshot 90 U, Polaroid One600 Ultra and a Kodak Brownie that I've never used. I also have 3 lenses, the 50mm f/1.8, 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 which is my standard lens, and a 55-200mm lens that I never use, (zooming isn't my thing). I am planning on getting a 28-135 IS, and a 17-40mm L.

I use Fuji film for color, and Ilford for black and white. I also use Sandisk Extreme III CF cards, Kingston SD cards, Hoya filters and Lowepro AW bags.

The following photos are from my first use of true black and white film. Before, I used Ilford Super XP2, which is C-41 process. The true stuff is so much better.

I used my Canon Rebel K2, my 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 lens, and Ilford FP4 ISO 125. Only a standard UV filter was on.

One last thing, I am also on DeviantART: http://zanarky.deviantart.com/. All of my photos and favorites are up there, so message me there if you'd like.
